• Effective Hong Kong business registration certificate.
• Portfolio including past animation work, past job reference of at least 30-60 seconds AI-assisted animation / video (i.e., visual content generated with assistance of AI) with explanation on how to use AI for production.
• A full creative and technical proposal including creative proposal, at least a 40-frame storyboard.
• Technical production plan (detailing how they will apply AI in animation production) and expected outcome and benefits.
• Script ideas generated with assistance of AI.
• Concept art, character design, background design generated with assistance of AI.
• Test Shot (around 10-20 seconds of sample shot) generated with assistance of AI. t is necessary to explain how AI was used in the production process during the vetting. These sample shots should reflect the creative style and quality benchmarks of the applying company for the animation project planned.

Remarks: The theme of production is open. This can be story-based 2D or 3D animation, MV (music video) in animation style (should include characters and a storyline), or an animated work like a trailer. Except the content should not involve any political message, should avoid excessive violence, obscenity, and should not promote discrimination nor have any infringement of copyright to others and it must comply with Hong Kong laws, including the National Security Law.

1. Vetting to shortlist for interview: Among all collected application forms, the assessment committee will select the eligible companies to advance to an interview according to a series of objective criteria.
2. Vetting interview to select participating companies: The assessment committee will conduct interviews with finalists, which shall introduce and display the submitted AI-assisted animation work in test shot on site and present the creative proposal and technical production plan

Part A (50%) – Based on submitted creative (story board, character design, script/concept art etc.)

Part B (50%) – Based on company profile, show-reel or portfolio, and technical proposal (on how AI will be applied) submitted.
